These images make me smile, laugh, and miss my own Granny really really bad. You couldn't even put a price on the value of something like this. I would have loved to have images like these of me and my Grandma Coleman (gosh I miss her *sigh*)! It's so incredibly important to have professional portraits of you and your loved ones made, before you look back and it's too late and you regret never having done it.

Kelly contacted me just a few days before Memorial Day and wanted to set up a session with her Grandmother (who lives in Parkersburg) while she was here visiting from New York! It was very last minute but when she told me how much she loves her Granny and how special their relationship is, I had to say yes!

What a blast it was. They are so silly together, you would think they were sisters!
I really enjoyed this session.

Beth and Brian White's Wedding, that is! What a stunning Wedding it was this past Sunday (5-24-09)! Beautiful day in Parkersburg and everything just went so smoothly. They were such a fun couple to work with.

Fun shoot on Saturday with the super talented Ibrahim family. Mr. and Mrs. Ibrahim own Physical Therapy Providers in Ravenswood, and their kids are all carving out their own successful paths in life. A student at West Point, and award-winning chef working in San Fransico, and a WVU student studying to be a Psychologist.

Every time that Marlo Norris comes to see me I know there will be laughter involved. She's a 3 year old with a lot of sass and style. Her Mommy Jodi recently gave birth to her second beautiful daughter, Ali. I had the chance to photograph the sisters together on May 15th.


Congrats to the Norris family and I look forward to photographing Ali as she grows.

I spent a delightful afternoon on Thursday, at the home of my friends, Charessa & Bob Wilkinson in Ripley, photographing the joy and excitement of their newborn son, Che River. I also snapped some memorable images of their daughters and pets. It was so much fun, definately in my book of favorite sessions of all time!

Last Thursday evening I had a blast running around downtown Charleston with Mr. Dane Jordan and his Mom D.D.

Dane was so easy to photograph, did anything I asked, and even had a few ideas of his own. I haven't seen the new Fast & Furious movie yet, but it kinda felt like I did when I was finished with Dane's session... fast/cool car, tattoos, no shirt, speeding around to all kinds of cool locations! Fun! I really enjoy shooting portraits in Charleston and I get to do it again this Saturday for some engagement pics! Yah!

And here is what D.D. emailed me right after I posted the proofs on Monday, I love her...

"Omg… This momma is in DEEP…DOO…What bank can I rob? I am sitting here crying… over the pix of my son…You knocked it outta the park, girlfriend…outta the park…His whole lifetime is worth…waiting for these proofs."

This little guy is 6 months old and absolutely adorable! We had our session last Thursday morning. I first met Aidan and his Mommy Melanie back in February at the Elliott-Dotson Wedding in Parkersburg. Aidan was in the Wedding. He was pulled down the isle in a wagon, asleep! It was so cute.

My nephew Landon Gaige Coleman will be 9 months old this coming Tuesday. I visited with him today and we had a mini photo shoot. He's growing so fast. He can crawl (really fast) now and say "Da Da," which my brother loves. He makes my heart melt...

Colby is a super smart, super talented young man from Ripley High. Not only a straight A student who scored in the top points bracket on his ACT's, but also a National Motocross Champion! We did two seperate photo sessions (due to rain). The first at the studio on Wednesday evening and the second at his motocross track in Fairplain on Friday night. We were hoping to do some action shots but again the rain showed it's ugly face. We still managed to get some awesome images that I am sure he will love.

A big thanks to his wonderful, beautiful girlfriend Mandi Wines (another Senior portrait client of mine) for referring him to me! They make quite the fabulous couple and I wish the very best to both of them!

Benjamin is one of my favorite kids to photograph. We had a super fun session on Tuesday evening to mark his upcoming 3rd birthday! I think this was our 4th session together in the past year and a half. Each time the images I capture of the little guy always make me smile, and laugh out loud. He's such a character. We went on location to an adandoned school in Ohio and it was quite the adventure! I love how open his parents Andrea and Brian are to my crazy ideas!

Sierra came down all the way from Fairmont last Friday for some pics in her cheer uniform. Such a sweet gal!

I had my first session with Mr. Presley Wines on Thursday last week. What a cutie pie! His Mom Katie is beautiful too. I did her sister Mandi's Senior & Prom portraits. I love that whole family, super nice people!

A few favorites...

Meet my fabulous October 17th Wedding clients, Ryan Worley and Kristin Shrewsbury. They are not only a beautiful couple but are a blast to be around. During the 3 hours I spent with them on Wednesday evening I could tell that Ryan likes to totally goof off and loves making Kristin laugh at his silliness. I also noticed that Kristin is the more adventurous one, although I really would have thought Ryan to be the wild side of the pair, seeing as he is a Tattoo artist, lol.

I absolutely loved creating their engagement portraits and I soooo look forward to their Wedding that will take place in Parkersburg in October. We have made it official that Converse chuck taylors will make an appearance! Keep your word, Kristin, Ryan and I have you outnumbered! Lol. Gotta love the chucks!
