...3 months and 14 days, actually. Landon is the cutest baby in the world (I'm partial) because he's my nephew and I just love the little guy so much...
Justin and Amber's Wedding took place at the University of Charleston on October 18, 2008. It was a fabulous day with a few extra special touches. Like the fact that Amber's Mom secretly invited Justin's favorite band to play at the reception and it was a huge suprise! And when Amber found the words "better luck next time" written on her beer cap before the ceremony- it was a good laugh.
Now this sweet couple is expecting a baby next year! Can't wait to take photos of the little one! Yah, congrats Amber & Justin!!!
My work is on the cover of InWheeling Magazine once again, for the Holiday issue that just came out.
I love doing editorial work!
By the way, if you live in Ohio, be sure and grab the upcoming Jan 2009 issue of Ohio Magazine because I will have some work published in two of their stories as well. How exciting.
Just a friendly note that the deadline for ordering prints, cards, and all other products you plan to give for Christmas is December 5th. This will ensure that I can retouch and process everyone's orders and have them to you a few days or even a week before Christmas! Also, there is still time to book a session for Christmas portraits. Check my calendar at http://www.myspace.com/radiantbutterfly
Remember, I am offering 6 new Christmas card styles, size 5x7, they come in sets of $25= $79.00 each!
Cooper Diddle was due for his monthly session and the main theme this time was Christmas, as his Grandma is going to have me make some custom Christmas cards with photos of him to send out. He just keeps on getting cuter. Not to mention he keeps growing!
Well, actually, I have lots of favorites, but Ethan is definately high on my list :) Mr. Ethan Gray, one of the cutest little boys ever! I did portraits of him this time last year and his Mom Heidi brought him back in last week. I just love his blonde hair and the way he talks and laughs, so precious!
Autumn Wedding #2 October 11, 2008 Megan Simpson & Matthew McCarty Parkersburg, W.V.
Another beautiful October Wedding and fun-filled day. Megan was in a Wedding I shot back in March along with all her best friends so it was like a reunion of sorts, seeing everyone again.
A little update on my Senior Session with Katie Belcher from Ravenswood High on Saturday. Katie is big into sports and so pretty! I've done portraits for her sister a few times this year so I guess it was only natural for me to do her Senior pix. It was a lot of fun.
I love autumn Weddings and I've always said whenever I get married it will in October! I photographed 4 Weddings last month that took me all over the state. Joslyn & Daniel Judy's was the first.
The day: October 4th. The place: Blackwater Falls State Park. Three words to describe it: beautiful, spontaneous, and memorable.
It was a fun weekend for me overall, as I got to stay in a small resort tucked away in the mountains and took a friend/assistant with me. The day after the wedding, my friend and I ran around the area and took some beautiful landscape photographs & explored a small town along the way!
There are entirely too many favorites from this one to post here, so feel free to view all their images in the Proofs section of my website, under October Events.
When Amanda's stepmom called me to make an appointment for Amanda and told me how creative she is, I got excited. Amanda is well on her way to becoming a fashion designer and plans to attend college in New York after graduation.
Angela could seriously be a model, hands down. I am so glad she found me on myspace through some mutal friends. We had a super fun session on Saturday!
This 8 month old is so adorable! Her parents are originally from Ravenswood, but now live in Hurricane. They saw my studio while visiting family here earlier this year and we had a session on Sat. November 1st. I'm sure glad they found me and I can't wait to do future photo sessions with Hadley and the whole family.
